Dana White responds over potential Conor McGregor boxing rematch with Floyd Mayweather

UFC president Dana White has confirmed he is still in talks with Floyd Mayweather about a return to boxing but rubbished suggestions he could have a rematch with Conor McGregor.

Back in December, White reached an agreement with Mayweather to hold a 'spectacular event' after they were seen sitting courtside at a basketball game at the Staples Center.

However, those plans were shelved after Mayweather's ex-partner Josie Harris and uncle Roger Mayweather died in March.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic then hit but White believes an event is still "very possible".

Speaking to TMZ, White said: "Floyd and I still have dialogue and go back and forth. We're still interested on both sides."
